Greetings to all!
As I am setting here getting ready to report OHAHA news for this month I am looking out my window and another heavy snow has started. I think this brings the total to three snowstorms in the last two weeks. I don’t know about you all, but I am so over this winter and all of this snow. I have a good imagination but right now it is hard for me to remember what green grass looks like.
OHAHA had its annual meeting January 24, 2010 in the Champion Center at the fair grounds in Springfield Ohio. The meeting was call to order at 11:30 A.M. The Presidents report informed those present that they needed to renew their AHA & OHAHA memberships as soon as possible for two reasons. First, if you renew your memberships before April you will receive the Modern Arabian magazine free this year. If your membership is renewed after April you will have to pay a subscription fee to receive the magazine. The second reason you need to renew as soon as possible is so the number of members we have will allow OHAHA can keep their voting delegates for our National Convention. Last year our club was able to send four delegates to represent use. If we are able to increase our membership by just seven members we will be able to send a fifth delegate, so I am asking everyone to get those memberships renewed and if anyone knows of someone who is thinking about joining a club Please ask them to join OHAHA.
